Well, I'm now up over at Wordpress.com. Causticity's Place Currently, it is just a mirror image of my site here at blogger. It offers imo a cleaner look. I will post here and there on Wordpress to see which one I like better and of course it still needs tweaking and personalization. Enjoy and I look forward to your comments!

Well, it's that time of year again. You can always tell by the cheesy election ads that have hit the airwaves. Right now those ads are kind hearted and feel good. Supposed to tug at my heartstrings kind of ads. As we sheep have come to expect, in a few weeks as election day nears, the ads will turn to pointing fingers and mudslinging. The last line of every ad ends with; "I'm (insert favorite politician) and I approve this message."
Why don't they just end with; "I'm (insert favorite politician) and I've just blatantly lied to your face and told you what you wanted to hear"?

Fight the good fight

My buddy Reverend Gisher over at Less People Less Idiots has stumbled into a good old freedom of speech shootout. In a nutshell, his videos have been deleted and accounts terminated by those rascals over at "utube" (note: don't want to give them extra advertising) and other video hosting sites. If you watch the videos posted on his site, you will find that they are legit and much "cleaner" than others listed on the video sites. Gisher is trying to establish a point in regards to banner advertisements of conglomerates during adult videos. He has opened new accounts in an attempt to get the word out, only to have them terminated. Here we are in 2006 and we are STILL fighting censorship. Unbelievable folks, unbelievable. Stop over and check out the fight. If you feel strongly about freedom of speech, he can add you to an evergrowing list of supporters. Stand up for what you believe in and maybe once and for all, we can eliminate censorship by our government and large corporations.
